My second visit to this delightful cafe. On both occasions I have chosen the Daily Special, which were both delicious. The salad dressing, as mentioned in another review is delicious. The cakes look yummy although I have not succumbed but my husband has tried their treacle tart which he said was excellent. I love the concept of this venue and its surroundings and believe it should be repeated nationwide. The setting is very attractive and family friendly. I would highly recommend this vegetarian cafe. Brilliant little café serving tasty food in nice surroundings in Camphill community's own grounds, with apple trees nearby. You can sit indoors or outdoors. The food is tasty and the staff friendly. There are no other legitimately vegetarian restaurants in Milton Keynes, so a welcome venue. Positive annepaton

Camphill is a place that my family and I discovered many years ago and now we bring our granchildren to eat here! The atomosphere is calming and pleasant...even when it's busy!! Staff are just lovely but the food is ALWAYS sublime especially the Daily Specials. Sometimes we just have a coffee and homemade cake other times it's a place to catch up with friends and have a wonderful lunch. I often find myself in a dilemma of whether to share this oasis of "loveliness" or to keep it a secret?!!!! Positive Debbie Sutton

We have been visiting Camphill, since accidentally finding it whilst out on a bike ride 16 years ago. In that time we have seen many changes, including the very chic recent refurbishment. It remains today as it has been for 16 years, genuinely our favourite place. We always go there on our birthdays and special occasions, and meet there from work at lunch time. We can sit and chat, whilst looking out at the country garden, and during the summer months we visit weekly to sit in the shaded country garden. Its main attraction has to be the staff, who always make us welcome. Their food is baked fresh daily, and we love picking a fresh piece of home baked cake to go with our tea. We are not vegetarians but the menu has never felt restricted. A grilled cheese sandwich is a real treat during a working lunch. The kitchen daily specials are yummy. My children have grown up visiting Camphill and its staff, which have a special place in all our hearts. Positive the family nixon

Thoroughly enoyed my lunch there today. The food is delicious and the staff very friendly. My partner said it was the best salad he had ever had and asked them for the recipe for the dressing, which they freely gave. Their homecooked bread is gorgeous and the cakes look mouthwateringly delicious! The price is good value also. Looking forward to my next visit. Positive Mrs Ann Garfitt

I regularly visit Camphill and use it for a meeting place for business and social events. The recent revamp of the facilities along with the delicious food, enthusiastic service and friendly environment makes it a very special event. Prices are exceptionally good value. Definitely worth a visit to checkout for yourself. Positive Rosemarie White

After a business meeting in Milton Keynes I found myself paying a return visit with colleagues to this vegetarian restaurant. The service and food as delightful as ever- indeed the special I had was equal to some of the best I have sampled in London vegetarian restaurants-but at a fraction of the cost! Last time I visited the establishment was not licensed for alcohol and the revelation this time was a, well superbly balanced wine list. Nothing at the top end but several excellent value carefully selected wines from a range of areas. One of our party also tried the relatively new dinner beer- Estrella Inedit. He said it was served exactly as it should be. Again 5 stars to this outstanding little eatery. Positive Andrew K Burns-Mollison

An absolutely splendid place where you can eat the very best of food in a very pleasant and peaceful setting. I find everybody very helpful, the food is absolutely mouth-watering and I find myself wanting to go there more and more. I have never come accross anything quite like it before, and of course it does a wonderful job for the members of it's own community. What a role model for other areas! Positive Patrick Beale

During my visit to Camphill yesterday for the Service Launch of the Milton Keynes Floating Support Service, I had lunch at the Camphill Cafe and was delighted by the experience. The service was friendly and quick, and the food and drink were absolutely delicious (and very good value). The main course special was Mushroom and Spinach en croute (with two lovely side-salads) and I had a drink I'd never tasted before - pink ginger, refreshing and nicely chilled. The atmosphere was particularly pleasant, especially as there was no background music (one of my pet hates), just the gentle hum of people's voices. Altogether a lovely lunchtime. If the cafe were only nearer to Oxford, I'd be going there again and again. Positive Caroline Zvegintzov
