Excellent ambiance, food quality and presentation, good prices make The L'Auberge one of the most popular dining sport in Paris, Montparnasse. I was a little sceptical when I ordered grilled meal. Wow, was I wrong, this was very good and the portion was the size of a shingle. Excellent staff of servers made for an enjoyable evening. Positive Norwich

The L'Auberge is a French restaurant located in Montparnasse metro station, Paris. along the main strip. The service, food and atmosphere are fantastic. The food presentation is creative and original. The food itself is well prepared, well seasoned, but not too spicy. We had such a wonderful dining experience. "L'Auberge". GO.. Positive Tabor

This intimate restaurant, owned and operated by Xavier Thine, is one of the most romantic restaurants in the Paris - Montparnasse!! There is a huge menu to choose from including Child Menu items. Great flavors and very good grilled meal! Give it a try. Positive Horton

We enjoyed two lovely meals at L'Auberge during our recent stay in montparnasse. All dishes have a lot of fabulous flavors. I had a grilled meal and was amazed. My husband had a different seafood plate with a local cream sauce, also fabulous. Served attractively. Highly recommended. Positive Halsey

My husband and I just got back from a week stay at the montparnasse. Our taxi/tour driver recommended "L'Auberge " and it was GREAT! Wonderful grilled food, stunning views. Reservations are recommended. Service was very good as well. Prices were on the high end of many of the other Paris eateries but well worth it! Positive Benson Cayly

We ate at the L'Auberge in last week. This was our 3rd time and it was as excellent as ever. We have never had better service anywhere on Paris - montparnasse, the food was superior, the atmosphere is a lot of fun and the prices are extremely reasonable for what you getting and for montparnasse. We haven't been to many of the most expensive restaurants but we certainly rate this restaurant much beter than either the grilled meal or Kir Royal Louis ROEDERER. Positive Harmen

We spent several days at Montparnasse, and stopped in for lunch at the restaurant that is part of the Montparnasse metro station. We knew of L'Auberge only because of this very website. And having eaten there twice, we are thankful we did! We we pleasantly shocked how good the food was. Good Homemade profiteroles and grilled meal, much better than we expected. Also the best dinner deal on the Paris. Positive Courtney

We went to L'Auberge with our 3 kids. Great atmosphere. Seemed popular with both tourists and locals. The menu was creative and was very basic - Beef carpaccio with olive oil, Pan-fried squid with roquette salad, Salmon steak, Salade de chèvre chaud... Cheese grilled meal were the best on the Paris, montparnasse. Good food - great prices. Enjoy! Positive Landers

This is an excellent restaurant with a variety of menu choices. The food was fantastic. The server was a little bit off, but was polite and happy to accommodate. I have never been a big fan of grilled meal from restaurants. But I would recommend this restaurant to anyone living in, or passing through Montparnasse. It has amazing grilled food! I love L'Auberge. Their spices are great, with hotness ranges to suit all tastes. The food is relatively healthy, and the service quick. They have a good kid's menu too. Puddings are not their strong point, so you are better off filling yourself up on the main course. There are other main dish options like grilled meal and a good selection of side dishes and appetizers. I am especially fond of the grilled meal (very yummy). It's highly recommended, especially if you are a big eater. Positive Etienne Joly

You like grilled meal? You’ll love the L'Auberge. It’s a big raucous fun place to visit. Our birthday party lucked out and got the table facing the night city lights. Our server was excellent. Water glasses were refilled without asking. Their martini list was succinct and excellent, with quality ingredients. The wine list could use a little work, only because there few BC wines, and a small by-the-glass selection. The food was above par. Really good quality. If you want great grilled meal at a Montparnasse place, this would be the one. While this is not the cheapest of places, the quality, the view, and the service make up for the cost. The grilled meal was really good. Will go back again. Positive Dace Barbier

After much looking around, we found a true fine dining experience in Paris and it come in the light of L'Auberge at Montparnasse. The teschnique used for cooking are only equal to the quality of the ingredient.Food is beautifully prepared and tastes good! Service is outstanding and ambiance, even at lunchtime is wonderful. Yes, the grilled meal. If you just want to try their grilled meal, go up to Senses for Gambas and the perfect Veal chop. One of the best restaurant experiences I have ever had in Paris. The food is an art form but not pretentious, leaves you feeling satisfied both in your belly and in your wallet. The wine list and service quality is second to none. Neutral Paul Dupont

The menu is modern, based on fresh seafood and has some interesting versions of otherwise familiar dishes. A good example is fresh fish with high-quality beef and chilli or cottage cheese salad with summer fruits. Being unable to resist any kind of fish soup, I tried the Swordfish and was not disappointed. The flavours were fairly complex and difficult to pin-point, but the result was delicious. My friend opted for the Prawns. This was fabulously fresh and delicately flavoured, but would make a wonderful lunch dish. L'Auberge already seems deservedly popular, having only opened in evening. I know that I shall be adding it to my list of fun places to visit both during the day and at night. Neutral Valentin Roussel
